College and Beyond offers a FREE consultation to review this information and see how we might be able to help you lower this amount and/or comfortably pay for it.

To get started, download the Free EFC Calculator Software. This download may take a few minutes to complete depending upon the speed of your connection. Once the installation is complete, open up the EFC calculator and follow the detailed instructions. Be sure to fill out all fields marked in RED.

After you've input your information, the calculator will determine your EFC for you. This number represents how much you are expected to pay to your son or daughter's college each and every year (less any scholarships they receive) as determined by the Department of Education.
